Q: Can these connect to 5Ghz Wi-Fi?
A: No. Our security camera only works and connects with 2.5Ghz Wi-Fi. If you do use a 5Ghz Wi-Fi connection, ensure to switch your status to only use 2.5Ghz.
Q: Does this camera work during the night?
A: Yes. Our camera can view and capture at a range upwards of 32 ft. to ensure surveillance during the dark.
Q: What should I do when the video preview is not smooth?
A: Try the following solutions:
- Check if the Wi-Fi network of the router is smooth.
- Move the router closer to the camera.
- When previewing the video with cellular data, make sure that the internet connection of the smartphone is smooth.
- Auto, Fluent and HD are supported for video preview. By default, it is Auto. You can adjust the video clarity according to the internet status.
Q: After inserting the Micro SD Card properly, why does the camera still not have any record ed videos?
A: The SD Card needs to be inserted when the camera is off. After the Micro SD Card is inserted inside of the camera, the video recording feature needs to be turned on manually. You can refer to"SD Card Video Recording Setup" in the manual.
Q: How does the camera provide updates or notifications?
A: When motion appears on the security camera, there will be real-time motion detection alerts sent through the app to provide all users a notification that something or someone has appeared within the range of the security camera.
Q: How to restore the camera to factory settings?
A: Hold down the Reset button for about 10-12 seconds and release it when you hear a prompt tone. The Security Camera is reset successfully.Restarting or restoring the camera to factory settings can solve many abnormal situations.
